Chaparro Media is a digital publishing company specializing in ebooks on nature photography. It was founded by Steve Berardi, a lover of the written word and bold coffee.

The name “chaparro” comes from the root word of chaparral, which is a biome found in the coastal mountains of Southern California (and other Mediterranean climates). It was in these mountains where Steve discovered his love for good books, so it seemed only fitting to name the company after that special place.
